Bing Cheng
Sculptor

Bing Cheng was born in Beijing, China. He graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 1990. In 1995, he graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts where he specialized in urban sculpture. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, also a member and vice secretary of the China Sculpture Institute. Special invited sculptor at China Sculpture Institute. Sports in Life won the silver prize in the Third Art Exhibition of China Sports and is on permanent exhibition at the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland, also won the silver prize in the Zhengzhou First International Sculpture Competition. Three Sisters is Collection of The China National Fine Arts Museum. Three Sisters, Sun and Moon were installed in the St. Louis University/Lay Center for Education and the Arts. The Sea Maiden won the gold prize at the 93' China Weihai International Sculpture Art Competition. The Sea Maiden, Moonlight Song and Mother and Child were installed in the Beijing Convention Center. Harp won the excellent work price in the Ten Fine Arts Exhibition of China, and was collected by Zhejiang Fine Arts Museum. He has held several solo exhibitions in Beijing, Taipei, New York, San Francisco, Boston and San Diego. China 's Tianjin Fine Art Press Company published “Selected Sculpture by Bing Cheng" in 2001. Jiling Fine Art Press Company published “Selected Sculpture by Cheng Bing" in 2004.
